Kings Dominion renames waterpark to Soak City for 2015

It has been recently announced that Kings Dominion will be renaming their waterpark in addition of 2015. The former name of the waterpark, WaterWorks, has been changed to Soak City, the name of some other waterparks owned by Cedar Fair such as Valleyfair, Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Knott's Berry Farm.

The new expansion will feature Splash Island, a new kids area, which will include a slide, many jets of water, water pumping station, and more.

Another addition is the 65-foot slide tower, but it hasn't been officially named as of Feb. 9, 2015. Kings Dominion has decided to let the general public vote on what the name should be. You can vote on their Facebook page. You can decide between Hurricane Heights, or Tsunami Summit as the name. I personally chose Tsunami Summit, however Hurricane Heights is currently leading the vote.

The tower will be slightly similar to Snake Pit at Dorney Park, and will feature slides in the tower named Paradise Plunge, Aqua Blast, and Thunder Falls.
